Celebrations broke out on the streets of Tehran on Tuesday after Iran fired “homegrown” ballistic missiles at Israel in retaliation for Israel's campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon. The same scene repeated in Gaza when people saw a salvo of missiles light up the night sky. However, some Iranians queued up outside petrol stations in Tehran as fears of a wider conflict set in. Lebanon residents also expressed their worries about broader implications of the Iranian missile attack.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps said it used hypersonic Fattah missiles for the first time, and 90% of its missiles successfully hit their targets in Israel.
