Last night in San Diego, CODEPINK and other pro-Palestine activists were inside and outside Nancy Pelosi’s book tour event to tell her loud and clear: the people of San Diego demand an arms embargo on Israel and a permanent ceasefire NOW! Nancy Pelosi is one of the most powerful people on the planet. She has more invested in the arms industry than nearly any other member of Congress — when she votes to drop US bombs on Palestine, she is lining her own pockets. We demand she does more to stop US-led violence in Palestine, Lebanon, and elsewhere. She must stop funding the violence.
