Israeli occupation forces executed a fire belt in Nabatieh and its vicinity, targeting residential buildings, the Nabatieh municipality, the Municipalities Union, and the souk (market). Nabatieh Governor Huweida al-Turk spoke to Al Mayadeen, emphasizing that the "municipality is a state-owned building, serving as an office for local administration—a local authority." Al-Turk pointed out that the Israeli strike seemed a direct hit at the municipality, and drew attention to the extremely severe damage inflicted on the buildings. Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health confirmed that at least six people were martyred, while 43 were killed. Moreover, our correspondent confirmed the martyrdom of the Mayor of Nabatieh, Ahmad Kahil, one of the municipality's members.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation launched more than seven Israeli airstrikes on the neighborhoods of al-Deir, al-Aqida, and al-Ruwais in the Nabatieh al-Tahta area, Lebanon's National News Agency reported.
