Just a bit of correction Mr. Bassem. Putin did not target civilians, nor did he deliberately target them. You are mistaking the Kremlin with the Kiev regime. The Kiev regime had been terrorising the civilians in Donbass and Crimea (who make up the majority population in those regions) since 2014. The international community stood by and did nothing about it. 

Like the Israel-Palestine conflict, the Western mainstream media wants you to think that the war in Kiev started in 2022 with the Russian SMO (Special Military Operation). When in fact, it started way before in 2014 with the western-backed coup and color revolution in Ukraine, and the subsequent persecution of the Russian ethnic minority in Ukraine by the western-backed puppet leaders. In fact, I would argue that the war against Russia started even way back, ever since the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact. NATO, that Washington-led military coalition, broke their promise not to expand a single inch eastward. After the fall of the Soviet Union, one by one, former soviet Eastern European regions/countries were manipulated or used by Washington to wage war on Russia. A consistent effort to destabilize the border of Russia and create security risk for her, with the aim to eventually break Russia up into bits and pieces, and conquer her territories and resources.

When the Russians conducted their SMO, they were careful not to strike at civilian targets and they made efforts to evacuate civilians to safe places, and providing safe passages for civilians who wished to evacuate, whatever direction the civilians wished to go. They did not target civilian infrastructure such as electricity, water, communication towers, or hospitals, nor did they carpet bomb Ukraine like we see Israel doing to the Palestinians in Gaza today. The Russians are also careful in their treatment of POW (prisoners of war). Kremlin even organized a special vehicle, accomodations, and educational/entertainment programs in Russia for Ukrainian orphans as well as for Ukrainian parents affected by the war who wished to send their children away to a safe place while the war is raging in Ukraine. That vehicle/program is dubbed the "Donbass Express". It was all done in a transparent manner, and the Kremlin even invited those who wished to see it for themselves to come and see how those Ukrainian children were being treated at those facilities.

Meanwhile, the neo-nazi groups fighting on behalf of the Kiev regime consistently target civilians and use them and their homes as human shields and operating bases. They even shoot at those who try to evacuate themselves to Russia. All those things were documented by the Donbass and Russian authorities. They collected numerous evidence of atrocities committed by the neo-nazi elements in Ukraine. But you won't see those on the western mainstream media. Also, fun fact: the Kiev regime is supported by the same murderous Zionist regime in Israel. Tel Aviv had been providing weaponry to Kiev to wage war against Russia throughout the Russian SMO.

The Russian SMO is not an aggression. It is a reaction and retaliation to the persecution of the Russian ethnic minority in Donbass by the Kiev regime, as well as to the provocation and security threat posed by NATO. For eight long years, Russia had exhausted all peaceful means to try to bring a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian problem. But it fell on deaf ears. Kiev and the western powers even used the Minsk Agreement to deceive Russia. All the evidence is available for the public to see. But of course, the western mainstream media will not show you these.

Just like Palestinians had exhausted all peaceful means to solve the Israel problem for some 70 plus years. The Western mainstream media wants the global masses to think that the war in Israel started only recently with the current Hamas military operation. When in fact Tel Aviv has been waging war on the Palestinians for some 70 plus years already through systematic actions of collective punishments, land grabbing, occupations, and apartheid regime. Hamas current military operation is not an aggression, it is a reaction and retaliation towards the continuous aggressions of the Zionist regime towards the Palestinians, as well as the failure of the international community to take concrete actions to stop the ongoing crimes commited by Tel Aviv against the Palestinians.
